Walks with Kay Series

The Friends of Carolina Sandhills NWR will have its monthly “Walks with Kay” series at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28. The Tate’s to Twin Trek will be led by Josh Arrants of Arrants Outdoors, to diverse habitats and scenic views on this hike through longleaf pine uplands and wetlands, with chances to spot endangered red-cockaded woodpeckers. Participants will meet at the Lake Bee Recreation area, six miles north of McBee on Highway 145, and have a chance to explore areas that are “off the beaten path” of the refuge.
