Town of Cheraw to Host Informational Session on Industrial Contaminants

The Town of Cheraw will be hosting a meeting concerning recent reports of industrial contaminants found in the environment. The goal of this discussion is to address recent public concerns and inform the public what the Town of Cheraw is doing to address those concerns. Information will be presented by Will Lewis of the Richardson Thomas Law Firm. Will Lewis is a former federal prosecutor with a vast experience in environmental law. He is part of the legal team representing the Town of Cheraw in the PFAS containment case. The meeting will be held at 6:00pm on May 20, 2025 in the Cheraw Town Hall located at 200 Market Street.
