Stories Around the State: Revolutionary Correspondence
The Chesterfield County Library System and the SC Historical Society will host two sessions of “Stories Around the State” on Wednesday, May 20, featuring the program “Revolutionary Correspondence: The Letters, Life, and Legacy of Henry Laurens.” Presented by Annette Guild of the South Carolina Historical Society, the program explores Laurens’ rise from Charleston merchant to Revolutionary leader through his personal and political letters. Sessions will be held 10 a.m. Chesterfield Library and 2 p.m. Matheson Library in Cheraw. Each program is limited to 20 participants. Registration is available at celsce.org.
