Memorial Day Program

Chesterfield County Veterans Affairs Office and Veterans Advisory Committee will have a Memorial Day service honoring fallen service members at 10 a.m. Monday, May 25 at the Chesterfield County Courthouse. The commander, adjutant, and members of each Chesterfield County veterans’ organization are requested to attend or have at least one representative to attend the ceremony to participate in the reading of veteran names. Community members are encouraged to place flags or wreaths on veterans’ graves and note any markers needing attention. Businesses and residents are invited to display red, white, and blue through May 25.
