Juneteenth Celebration in Cheraw

Destination Downtown – Join the Town of Cheraw for a Juneteenth Celebration on Thursday, June 19 at Centennial Park (200 Market St. – downtown Cheraw) from 5:30pm – 9:00pm! This unique educational event will celebrate the African American experience since the end of slavery in 1865. Expect an evening full of food, fellowship, the opportunity to gain experience via inspirational performances, and much more including the Live in the Flesh Experience band! This is a FREE outdoor event for the family so bring your lawn chairs/blankets (no coolers allowed) and enjoy yourselves downtown. Shop and/or dine downtown Cheraw and show your receipt at the Cheraw Rec tent and enter the drawing for a “Destination Downtown Cheraw” prize pack.
