Eggnormous Easter Egg Hunt and KidsFest in Chesterfield

The Greater Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce once again will host its annual Eggnormous Easter Egg Hunt and KidsFest. It will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 19 in Craig Park and on Bittle Street in Chesterfield. “It is important for the chamber to give back to the community, so we enjoy having events where families can come and enjoy food and fellowship,” said Karen Short, chamber president. The event will include local businesses and organizations, vendors, food trucks, a bouncy house, face painting, music, games, bike riding, a frog jumping contest, an egg decorating contest and an egg hunt. The egg hunt will be held for all age groups and will start at 10:30 a.m. for first and second-graders; 10:45 a.m. for third-, fourth- and fifth-graders; and 11 a.m. for kindergarten students and younger children. The eggs will contain candy, and the individual who finds the golden egg in each age group will win a bicycle. The Easter egg hunt is free for all participants. Wrist bands can be purchased for $5 to participate in all of the activities at the KidsFest. A variety of food can be purchased from vendors that will be attending the event. “I have enjoyed planning and securing vendors for this event and hope that everyone will come support the Chesterfield’s Eggnormous Easter Egg Hunt and KidsFest and enjoy themselves at the event,” said Short. She added the Eggnormous Easter Egg Hunt and KidsFest have been a success in the past, and the chamber hopes that this year will also be successful. “This year, the chamber expects more attendees and hopes that each year the event continues to grow,” she said. The last day to sign up to be a vendor is April 16. There is no fee to be a vendor at this event. More information about vendor spaces and other information is available by calling the Greater Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce at (843) 623-2343.
