Chesterfield Branch of NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner

The Chesterfield Branch of the National Association of Colored People will hold its annual Freedom Fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 7. at the Cheraw Community Center, located at 200 Powe St. The guest speaker is Bishop Eric L. Leake, presiding prelate of the South Atlantic Episcopal District of the AME Zion Family of Churches. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased from Avery’s Beauty Salon or from any NAACP member.
