Memorial Day Program at CC Courthouse

The Chesterfield County Office of Veterans Affairs and Chesterfield County Veterans Advisory Committee will celebrate veterans by hosting the 2025 Memorial Day program in the Chesterfield County Courthouse. The event will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 26. It will feature a guest speaker, posting the colors, singing the National Anthem, recognizing Gold Star family members, reading the Monument List, roll calling Chesterfield County deceased veterans from the past 12 months and playing “Taps.” Everyone is welcome to observe the National Moment of Remembrance on Memorial Day at 3 p.m. local time because taking a moment is a simple way to acknowledge the sacrifices of service members on this day.
