CAC and Porkchop Productions present The Fisherman and His Needy Greedy Wife

The Cheraw Arts Commission presents Porkchop Productions in The Fisherman and his Needy Greedy Wife on Tuesday, January 28. The 9:15am and 10:30am performances will be presented at the Theatre on the Green in Cheraw. The show is geared for pre-K– 5th grade.

Be careful of what you wish for! This is a lesson a fisherman and his wife learn the hard way when they catch a fish who promises to grant them three wishes if they will set him free. This action-packed adaptation of this “fishy” tale addresses themes of ecology and ocean conservation, as well as greed, keeping your word and being happy with the things you have…and not dwelling on the things you don’t.

Porkchop Productions is a professional theatre company specializing in audience participation performances. Founded in 1991, the group performs throughout the southeast for schools, libraries, youth groups and special events.
